Psoriatic arthritis is a form of arthritis that affects some people who have psoriasis — a condition that features red patches of skin topped with silvery scales. Many people with the condition are affected by morning stiffness. Even mild skin psoriasis can have a significant degree of arthritis.Treatment may include medication to reduce inflammation, steroid injections and joint replacement surgery.
