This study includes all the 50 children with positive fundus finding especially in admitted children in the department of pediatrics in which fundus examination was asked. This study also includes bigger age pediatric age group 1. Less than 5, 5 to 10 and more than 10 where the child is unconscious and is on ventilator. Total 50 patients underwent ophthalmology screening examination. The documentation of the eye fundus included patients with menigitis, purtschers retinopathy, malnutrition, tuberculosis, usher syndrome, anemia, leukemia, shaken baby syndrome, retinopathy of prematurity, cerebral palsy and dengue. This technique as an alternative way of screening will become a standard within examination of patients with eye disorders in developing countries where costly retcam not available. It is concluded that this innovation which is cost effective is a boon in documentation in pediatric imaging and plays a great role in councelling of the parents and making them aware what is happening with the child.
