Abstract :

Aesthetics is a branch of philosophy dealing with beauty and the beautiful. The term cosmetic dentistry can be used to describe dental procedures for improving the patientâ??s appearance even in the absence of any pathological condition. Proper treatment of carious primary teeth plays a major role in preventing oral infections, maintaining proper mastication and maintaining the space in the arch for the permanent teeth. So should direct our attention towards the important point of aesthetic rehabilitation of the primary dentition which has both psychological benefits as well as functional benefits. The advantages of fixed aesthetic CAD(Computer Aided Design)/CAM(Computer Aided Manufacture) acrylic crowns which is considered to be color stable with minimal bulkiness that do not cause food and plaque accumulation and can be easily cleaned to maintain good oral hygiene and sufficient strength to withstand force of mastication in addition to the minimal chair-side dental work that reduces the visits and time needed by the child to set on dental chair. The simple techniques of aesthetically restoring the carious primary incisors allows it to be used in daily clinical practice with great success, as well as to the child and parent establishing a positive attitude and satisfaction in relation to aesthetics and function of primary anterior teeth. So, the pediatric dentists should always search and develop the easier and more effective way to restore any defect in child teeth.
