Abstract :

Technology is moving so fast in dentistry overall and especially in orthodontics. Clear aligners are one of the most exciting aspects of orthodontics that uses 3D printing facilities to make orthodontic practice more accessible and acceptable for both orthodontists and patients. In addition, applying the at-home aligners philosophy can overcome the high cost of manufacturing aligners. Moreover, the orthodontist is now capable of designing the treatment plan himself using rapidly improving intelligent software. This presentation aims to emphasize the application of the athome aligners philosophy and 3D printing in the management of more complicated cases in the daily orthodontic practice.

Biography :

Elsaharty M completed his PhD at 35 years from Tanta University, Egypt. He is a lecturer of orthodontics in the faculty of dentistry at Tanta University, Egypt. He has over ten publications that more than 170 researchers have read. In addition, he is an international speaker invited to many international meetings and webinars.
