Aim: (Investigate the possibility of using serum taurine level (immune marker ) in addition to ophthalmoscopic examination for all diabetic patients as pre- early marker for diagnosis and detection of most Patients and methods: 15 case 8 male, retrospective review of all cases diagnosed with autoimmune encephalitis in KSMC between (2017-2022), and address the psychiatry comorbidity. Results: All patient had been diagnosed with autoimmune encephalitis (10) postuve serum and CSF result if Anti-NMDA, Anti MOG, Systemic Lupus, and (5) case has seronegative autoimmune encephalitis with presence of the other feature, 3cases had initial psychosis common in female, diagnosed with Lupus, Anti-NMDA. And 2 patients had visual hallucination associated with status epileptics. The rest had history of irritability prior to encephalopathy and catatonia. With later movement disorder, dystonia and chorea. All treated aggressively, including steroids and plasmapharesis, IVIG, immunotherapy. 6 of 15 respond to both Rituximab, then cyclophosphamide. And 1 respond to single dose of Methotrexate. Mechanism unclear. Conclusion: Autoimmune is not uncommon but the complication associated with is common, treatment response is vary among g patients, and no clear standard protocol fir type of immune therapy might be used in such case. We recommend more study and multimeter experience.
