Background: Glow and radiance are crucial factors of a healthy skin. However, keratinized tissues that lie on the epidermis daily prevent such growth and cause pores to clog up, diminishing the skinā??s health as it prevents the absorption of key ingredients present in skincare products. Aim: To introduce an exfoliating skincare regime, consisting of salicylic acid, glycolic acid and citric acid and evaluate the clinical efficacy through a 3D skin analysis. Methods: Volunteers are first analyzed by LifeVizĀ® mini which will produce a skincare report based on their current skinā??s sun damage, redness as well as pore size. After which, volunteers will undergo the regime for a period of 8 weeks before using LifeVizĀ® mini to visualize the changes to facial skin. Results: LifeVizĀ® mini enabled the observations of the skincare regime, which provided adequate skin analysis to assess the skincare regime. Within the period of 8 weeks, there has been significant reduction in sun damage, skin redness as well as pore size. Conclusion: Further observation will be necessary as a period of 8 weeks is only the first skin cycle; the efficacy of the exfoliating regime may be higher than initial results provided.
