A historical perspective of Congenital Adrenal Hyperplasia (CAH) will encompass the evolution of diagnostics and therapies to put current clinical investigation and treatment into context. Recent advances in related genetic mutations for effective management will be discussed. Attendees will understand applicable adjunctive therapies such as Gonadotropin Hormone Agonists and Growth Hormone for effective care. Prenatal diagnosis and therapy including the use of cell free DNA will be reviewed
Raphael David is a Pediatric Endocrinologist in New York and is affiliated with NYU Langone Medical Center. He received his medical degree from University of Lausanne Faculty of Medicine and has been in practice for more than 20 years. He is one of seven doctors at NYU Langone Medical Center who specialize in Pediatric Endocrinology.
