Angiosarcoma is a rare malignancy of the head and neck. It is usually seen in the elderly, and the prognosis is fatal. Diagnosis can be delayed as a result of the entity?s rarity or confounding tissue histology. Here, we report a case of poorly differentiated angiosarcoma of the scalp. A 70-year-old Turkish woman was admitted to our hospital complaining of red mass of the scalp The size was 4x4x5 cm. An excisional biopsy was performed, and histopathology and immunohistochemical studies were consistent with cutaneous angiosarcoma. The patient died of systemic carcinomatosis 6 months after the first manifestation. Early detection and treatment are essential to control thnis highly malignant soft tissue cancer.
