Decision making in breast augmentation

Abstract :

In planning breast augmentation surgery, there are many things to be considered. The breast should be assessed regarding the volume, ptosis, symmetry and breast area. The implant volume, incision and level of placement should be discussed in advance. The preoperative sizing allows the patient to participate in size selection. The decision for mastopexy with augmentation should be done before surgery. In augmentation and mastopexy, the operation has two opposing goals, so there are certain measures that should be taken into consideration to choose which technique to use. I have used circum-areolar, circum-vertical and in some cases inverted T incision to achieve my goal.
