Thought that likely comes to most peoples minds when they hear energy and climate is that of the effects of the energy sector on climate. Fossil fuel burning plays a major role in global climate change. The relationship, however, goes in the other direction as well: Climate significantly affects energy in a variety of ways. Understanding how climate is changing, and will change in the future, together with its influence on energy source and demand, is crucial. The paper deals with types of energy: Unrenewable energy, renewable energy, solar energy, wind energy, Bioenergy, Biogas, and nuclear energy. It also aims at focusing the light on the most important roles and efficiencies of energy in achieving the goals of its adaptation with the global climate change and advantage and disadvantage of the usage of renewable energy. The paper also reflects the climate information for sustainable energy and climate information in support of energy planning. The main hypotheses of the paper are that: Energy is central to a song of services supporting human development, from modern medical care, transportation, information and communications to light, heating, cooking and mechanical power for agriculture. Equitable and sustainable development requires working energy available for all, controlling emissions and shifting to new and cleaner energy sources.
