Eyelid lift: A dermocosmetic treatment around the eye

Abstract :

Biologically active drugs and macromolecules, such as peptide drugs, proteins, oligonucleotides and glycosaminoglycans are characterized by short biological half-life and scarce bioavailability, such characteristics make it difficult to employ different therapeutic strategies other than parenteral ones and which very often are only practicable in hospital. Aging of the lower eyelid is demonstrated by irregularity of the skin and fat bags. Blepharoplaty provides us for good results, when it is necessary, but when we have borderline status we can use dermocosmetic not invasive treatment. In our experience it is very interesting the use of microneedling stimulation in association to the particular patch provided with micro-spikes that introduce nutrients. When is necessary, we can add a micro superficial dermo-abrasion intended for the removal of the corneus layer and for vascularization. Immediately afterwards, we can use our treatment. This protocol provides us for interesting results with ambulatory not invasive treatment.

Biography :

Pier Antonio Bacci after graduating in Medicine and Surgery has always been interested in aesthetic pathologies of the legs and fat tissue, becoming one of the opinion leaders in phlebology and aesthetic surgery. He has perfected himself in the most important South American, American and European schools, bringing scientific contributions in the context of his collaboration with the Center of Phlebology of the University of Siena and his teaching in Aesthetic Surgery in the School of Specialization in Surgery of the same university for fifteen years. He is the author of various scientific books, such as Outpatient Phlebectomy, The Foot in Phlebology, Cellulites and the BIM Protocol: ED and Complications and Emergencies in Outpatient Surgery, in addition to this recognized as an international opinion leader in minimally invasive surgery of the face and body with the various wires of support, suspension and restructuring. He presides over the Italian Academy of Phlebology and Beauty based in Arezzo and is a Scientific Director in the Rome International Aesthetics at the Rome Fair.
