Manual Vacuum Aspiration (MVA) is a suction technique which utilises self-created vacuum to aspirate products of conception from the uterine cavity under local analgesics in an out- patient environment .The aim is to ensure that the management of women undergoing Manual Vacuum Aspiration within the 3ry main referral hospital in DOHA, Qatar (Women Wellness and Research Center), are in accordance with agreed care quality guidelines. To ensure the patient receives individual care and reassurance during and following MVA procedure within the WWRC that has clearly reflected a major drop in theatre utilisation and reduce burden on anaesthesia theatre staff, as well as an outpatient procedure done at the clinics, it avoids unnecessary admission and beds utilisation with reflection of high cost effectiveness outcome. The date presented will demonstrate the efficacy and benefits of MVA utilisation as a main line of treatment to selected miscarriage cases.
