Abstract :

Myopia is the silent refractive epidemic on modern world. Several optical and pharmaceutical approaches have shown moderate results in slow down the progression in young children. Specifically, Orthokeratology have been signaled like the highest efficacy system. Nevertheless, young children with low amounts of myopia still maintains with this technique less efficacy to reduce eye grow than older child or these with high amounts of myopia. Customized designed have been developed specifically oriented to manage myopia on the first states of initiation. The modification in peripheral refraction that we obtain with this new revolutionary design in comparison to regular ones.
