Purpose: To review results of G6 micropulse cyclophotocoagulation (MCP) of children with refractory or advanced glaucoma. Methods: Children undergoing MCP were identified from the surgical database and retrospectively reviewed. Data was collected on the gender, laterality, age at surgery, previous surgical procedure, and postoperative outcomes. Results: There were 11 eyes of 6 patients. Male to female ratio is 1:1. The mean age at time of procedure: 8.7 years. All patients required previous interventions except of one. Mean follow-up period was 5.45 months. Mean IOP dropped from 28.80+/-4.10 to 13.30+/-3.20. One eye needed glaucoma drainage device. Four eyes needed repeat same procedure. No complications were reported except of transient iritis in 3 eyes. Conclusions: Most patients who underwent MCP had good outcomes. MCP is a promising, safe, and non-invasive approach to patients with different types of glaucoma.
