Background: Gastrointestinal inflammation is associated with several factors including Helicobacter pylori colonization, physiological factors, use of certain medicines and etc. Gastrointestinal inflammation have significant outbreak in human population. The aim of this study was to investigate the prevalence of gastrointestinal inflammation in visited patients in Rafsanjan city. Methods: This descriptive cross-sectional study was conducted in the second half of 1396 in patients following endoscopy in Rafsanjan. Diagnosis of digestive disorders was done by a specialist physician with endoscopy method. Results: The study included 100 patients out of which fifty seven (57%) of the patients had gastrointestinal tract infections such as gastric and duodenal inflammation. Conclusion: Due to the widespread outbreak of gastrointestinal disorders that affects more than half of the patients, this requires careful examination and etiology for gastrointestinal disorders. Useful treatment as well as follow-up treatment is suggested for patients.
