Abstract :

Performing the root canal treatment in caries-exposed young permanent teeth may reduce their longevity because of under-developed root structure in terms of length and thickness. Saving the pulp tissues by performing the pulpotomy will lead to complete formation of root structure. Advent of bio-ceramic material like Mineral trioxide aggregate and other related materials have been proven to enhance the successes rate of vital pulp therapy procedures including direct pulp capping, partial and complete pulptomy even in caries-exposed pulps.

Prof. Dr. Feroze Ali Kalhoro is a Professor Dentist practicing at Prof. Feroze Ali Kalhoro ( F&J Dental Clinic), Sadar, Hyderabad . He did FCPS (Operative Dentistry) from College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan, BDS from Liaquat University of Medical and Health Sciences . He has an 20 years of experience in this field
