In the mist of pandemic, The Internet of Dental Things is a novel strategy for managing dental problems such as oral cancer, periodontal disease, and dental caries. Not just managing but also IoDT is crucial in collecting and monitoring of patient data for oral healthcare, and this information may also be used for future risk assessment and research. IoDT has the potential to enhance clinical outcomes by lowering mistakes and enhancing treatment quality. With data being acquired on how patients interact with their dentists and how they respond to various treatments, technology can also assist establish a "smart" dental clinic.
