Jinling Zhao is a Ph.D. candidate in Experimental Psychology in Ohio University. Besides conducting quantitative research on how specific incidental emotions influence judgment and decision making, she also teaches undergraduate-level courses (e.g., behavioral statistics, research methods). She has been a reviewer for peer-reviewed journals and conferences.
Her research focuses on systematically investigating the effects of induced anxiety on judgment and decision making (e.g., intertemporal decision making, moral judgment). Specifically, her research examines anxiety from two dimensions, predisposed trait (i.e., trait anxiety) and behavioral motivation (i.e., the behavioral inhibition system).
