My interesting geological problems include the continental-continental collision as in Tibetan Plateau, the intro-continental deformation as in South China, and the lithospheric thinning as in North China Craton. The data used includes heat flow, P-wave and S-wave velocity from wide-angle seismic profiles or tomography, seismicity, gravity, temperature and elastic thickness.
