Colon Cancer Immunotherapy

Colon Cancer also referred as colorectal cancer. Immunotherapies for Colorectal cancer classified into seven categories: adoptive cell therapy, cytokines, monoclonal antibodies, oncolytic virus therapy, checkpoint inhibitors, immune modulators, cancer vaccines and adjuvant immunotherapies.

Colorectal immunotherapy involves stimulation of immune system for which vaccines are mostly used. Another way of immunotherapy involves mimicking the body’s antibodies for which monoclonal antibodies are used.
