More than 50% of the enzymes are produced by the fungi. They play a key role as a source of biological diversity and for the production of industrial enzyme products. Enzymes are the proteins which degrade complex compounds into simple sugars. These fungal enzymes are well suited for industrial applications for several purposes. They also control the soil enzyme activity.
