Hydro Energy

In hydro energy we use water turbines to extract the energy from the flowing water. Most hydroelectric power plants will collect the water in dams or other reservoir from which the water is allowed to pour through a turbine, rotating it while it flows. This mechanical energy is then converted to electrical energy. Another technique instead of dam is to channel the water into a narrow path through the water turbine.
