Hypospadias is a congenital condition seen in males where the opening of the urethra is on the underside of the penis. It is known to be a birth defect. Treatment with hormones during pregnancy increases the risk of Hypospadias. Mild hypospadias usually do not have any symptoms where if it is a severe hypospadias a male may have problems like spraying urine, difficulty in passing the urine etc.
