Plaquenil

Plaquenil also known as Hydroxychloroquine.It is referred as a disease-modifying anti-rheumatic drug (DMARD) as it reduces pain and swelling in rheumatoid arthritis. It is a safe medicine. Used in management of multiple complications of lupus, connective tissue disorders, mild rheumatoid arthritis, juvenile rheumatoid arthritis. The common side effects are skin rashes, nausea, diarrhea.
