Rheumatoid arthritis (RA) is a chronic autoimmune disorder which refers to joint pain and swelling in which body’s own immune system affects the wrist, small joints of hands including knuckles and middle joints of the fingers resulting in the loss of function of joints. It is the most common type of autoimmune arthritis.
