Sleep Medicine

Sleep medicine is a medical term which includes diagnosis and therapy of different sleep disorders and disturbances. Sleep Medicine can be a therapy or some prescribed medications to treat different types of sleep Disorders or syndromes e.g. Sleep Apnea, insomnia and Restless legs syndrome, etc.

There are several kind of drugs and therapies which may treat sleep disorders. Type and quantity of sleep medicine depends upon the disorder type and severity. It is essential to follow the prescribed drug dosages carefully, and to report any recurring or new problems in case of side effects. Nowadays, People are more keener to acupuncture as a new approach or sleep medicine for the treatment of sleep disorders.
