Tumor

Is also called as neoplasm. it is a abnormal growth of tissue without inflammation which is solid or fluid-filled. it may be benign or malignant. benign tumour cannot metastasize. ex:uterine fibroids. malignant tumour tend to become progressively worse and leads to death. ex: carcinome. premalignant tumour is not yet malignant but is about to become. ex: actinic keratosis.
