Ludmila Viksna

Biography

Ludmila Viksna is the professor and chair of the Department of Infectology and Dermatology, The Riga Stradins University, Latvia. She earned her Ph.D. at Riga Medical Institute, Latvia. Currently, she is the head of Tuberculosis and Lung Diseases, a corresponding member of the Department of State Agency Infectology Center of Latvia, and a member of the expert commission of the Latvian Academy of Sciences. She has published 362 Reviewed papers and she was the author of 4 books and 2 books chapters. She has teaching experience of more than 30 years.
