Claire Wofford earned her B. A. from Wellesley College (1995),J.D. from Duke University School of Law (2001), andPh.D. from Emory University (2012). Her research interests include the study of legal doctrine on the U.S. Supreme Court, and the role that legal, ideological, and institutional factors play in the development of law. She also is currently studying the role of gender in litigation practices. Dr. Wofford’s work has been supported by the National Science Foundation. She teaches in the areas of Constitutional Law, the Judiciary, Gender and the Law, and American Government.
