Dr. Man Wang received her Bachelor’s degree in Biotechnology in 2009, Master’s degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology in 2011, and was awarded her Ph.D. in Virology from Wuhan University, China in 2014. Dr. Man Wang is presently working as an assistant professor at Medical College of Qingdao University, China. The focus of her work involves identifying and characterizing antiviral drugs and vaccines for viruses. She also unravels the protective immune mechanisms of vaccine candidates. So far, she has identified several efficient vaccine candidates against Epstein-Barr virus (EBV) infection and EBV-associated malignancies. Morevoer, she further elucidated the humoral and cellular immune responses induced by these candidates in animal models. She has published twelve papers in international peer-reviewed journals.
