I am a project manager and a distance learning tutor at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, where I am a faculty member since 2014. Additionally, I am a teaching fellow at the Imperial College, London. I've obtained my B.Sc.Hons degree in Infectious Diseases from Edinburgh University, followed by a Ph.D. in Microbiology and Immunology at University of Leuven (KUL) where I worked on a development of new antimicrobials. I acquired a postdoctoral Immunology research experience at Professor Dr. John Lambris Laboratory at the University of Pennsylvania (UPenn), where I worked on new complement inhibitors. I then specialized in glyco-vaccine development at Dr. Brendan Wren's lab (LSHTM). I am interested in glycoconjugate vaccine development, antimicrobial chemotherapy, glycobiology, pre-clinical drug development and immunotherapy.
