Dr. Nazmi Sari is Associate Professor in the University of Saskatchewan, Department of Economics, Canada. In addition to his appointment at the University, he is a research faculty at the Saskatchewan Population Health and Evaluation Research Unit, and adjunct scientist at the Health Quality of Council. After receiving his Ph.D. in economics from Boston University, he worked as an assistant professor in the School of Policy and Management, Florida International University. Dr. Sari received the first prize in Young Researchers in Health Economics Paper Competition awarded by the International Health Economics Association. He has published articles in Health Economics, International Journal of Industrial Organization, Journal of Socio-economics, Lancet, Health Policy & Planning, Canadian Journal of Public Health, or Advances in Health Economics and Health Services Research.
