Visiting Research Scholar/Postdoctoral Associate, Department of Chemistry
State University of New York at Buffalo, USA
Dr. Qin Hu obtained her Ph.D degree from Department of Chemistry, Hong Kong Baptist University at Mar 2015. She started to work in State University of New York at Buffalo as a Postdoctoral Associate since May 2016. She has authored more than twenty research articles. She is on the Editorial Board of four reputed journals and she is the reviewer of twelve International Journals.
Dr. Hu's research in the field of analytical chemistry is focussed on separation science. Her current research is centered on the development of analytical separation methods in combination with mass spectrometry and various spectroscopic methods for the separation and analyses of fluorescent carbon nanoparticles. She also studies the application of carbon nanoparticles as new analytical sensing tools for the quantification of targets.
