He studied Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) in Botany, Masters (M.Sc) in Environmental Sciences, Master of Philosophy (M.Phil) in Energy, Environment and Natural Resources, Diploma (DIS) in Industrial Safety and Doctorate (PhD) in Botany with Environmental Aspects. He worked on water quality and forest ecosystems for 6 years and 19 years in mathematical modeling of coastal engineering problems. He has published two books titled ‘Recycling of industrial effluents’ and water quality modeling for rivers, streams and estuary. He guided 4 dissertations for M.Sc degree and working as Guide for M S by Research at Defence Institute of Advanced Technology, Pune-25 and Ph.D degree in Environmental Sciences in Pune university. Worked as Committee Member for Organising Training Programmes. Worked as Doctoral Committee member for Ph.D Thesis evaluation and open defence at Bharathidasan University and Pune University and participants in various subjects of Hydraulics such as coastal hydraulics, Coastal Protection, Mathematical modeling for coastal engineering, water quality modeling, water resources etc at Central Water and Power Research Station, Pune , India
Research focus on mathematical modeling of in coastal engineering problems such as coastal hydrodynamics, temperature dispersion, salinity dispersion, wave modeling, water quality modeling, shoreline evolution, littoral drift modeling, sediment modeling, Scour depth estimation using mathematical model and integrated coupled modeling for cumulative impact of tide and wave induced flow modeling
