Thaneswer Patel

Biography

Thaneswer Patel received his M. Tech. in Farm Machinery & Power from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kharagpur and his Ph. D. in Agricultural Ergonomics from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Guwahati during July 2012 to July 2015. Since 2006 he is working as Assistant Professor in the Department of Agricultural Engineering, North Eastern Regional Institute of Science and Technology (NERIST), Nirjuli (Itanagar), Arunachal Pradesh. He is specialised in Human Factors and Ergonomics. He is Scientific Advisory Board member of several conferences like 8th International Conference on Applied Human Factors and Ergonomics (AHFE 2017), 9th International Conference on Applied Human Factors and Ergonomics (AHFE 2018), 8th International Conference on Digital Human Modelling and Applications in Health, Safety, Ergonomics and Risk Management, etc. He is a life member of the various professional societies like Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE), Indian Society of Agricultural Engineers (ISAE), Indian Science Congress Association (ISCA), Solar Energy Society of India (SESI), etc. He is actively involved in research and published a good number of research papers in various peer reviewed National/International Journals. He also reviewed a top-rated book like Introduction to Ergonomics, Automotive Ergonomics: Driver-Vehicle Interaction and Anthropometric and strength data of Indian agricultural workers for farm equipment design.
