Timur Gurgan

Biography

Prof. Dr. Timur Gurgan started his academic career as an assistant professor in 1985 in Hacettepe University, Ankara, Turkey.In 1988, he became associate professor and then in 1995, full professor in the Department of OB/Gyn of the same university. He was appointed as the Chairman of the Department of Ob/Gyn between the years 1997 and 2000.Apart from his teaching and training activities in the university, he has been acting as the Scientific Director of Gurgan CLINIC Women’s Health, Infertility and IVF Center in Ankara since 2000.His main interests are PCOS, endometriosis, clinical applications of ART’s, IVM, office hysteroscopy and prevention of multiples in ART.  He is the author or co-author of many journal articles appeared in many peer-reviewed journals and several international books. He lectures in many international and national conferences and currently is an executive board member of ESHRE.
