Dr. Risoldi Cochrane earned her Doctorate of Pharmacy from Shenandoah University’s Bernard J. Dunn School of Pharmacy in 2008. She completed a specialty residency in drug information at the Creighton University Center for Drug Information and Evidence-Based Practice in Omaha, NE. Since then, Dr. Risoldi Cochrane has chosen to remain at Creighton University School of Pharmacy and Health Professions as a Drug Information Specialist and Assistant Professor of Pharmacy Practice. In addition to teaching didactic and experiential pharmacycourses, Dr. Risoldi Cochrane serves as formulary liaison to Creighton University Medical Center and provides full Pharmacy & Therapeutics Committee support. Additionally, she precepts the longitudinal drug information experience for the postgraduate pharmacy residents at Creighton University Medical Center, Creighton University Clinic Pharmacy, and Bergan Mercy Medical Center. An advocate for global health, Dr. Risoldi Cochrane has participated in several international medical missions and has been nationallyrecognized for her volunteer service.
Dr. Risoldi Cochrane’s areas of interest have included drug literature evaluation, evidence-based medicine, health literacy and health communication. She has published research in several peer-reviewed journals, including the Journal of Health Communication, Journal of Evidence-Based Complementary and Alternative Medicine, Journal of Dietary Supplements, and Translational Andrology and Urology
