The medical aesthetic industry has grown at an exponential rate in the past 10 years. In 2016 the industry stands at 7 billion dollars and according to Medical Insight Inc., the annual growth rate willsoar at 12% each year reaching 12 billion dollars in 2019. With this impressive rampant growth rate and lucrative profits attached to it aesthetic medicine is not limited to dermatologists and plastic surgeons only; doctors from all fields of medicine have begin to assume the role of aesthetic injectors. To maintain the reputation of excellence for this new branch of medicine it is very important that every cosmetic injector preps him/herself painstakingly to nail every aspect of the treatment from aesthetic consultation to understanding the anatomy of face in order to deliver complication-free natural looking results.
Shazia Ali was trained at the Department of Dermatology Heath University Hospital, Cardiff Wales in United Kingdom. She holds a Master’s degree in the field of Dermatological Sciences. She got an early start in aesthetic and laser dermatology as part of her basic training which gave her an edge as a practicing Cosmetic Dermatologist and becoming one of the pioneer names in the field of aesthetics. Actually her mother institute is so proud of her accomplishments that she has been chosen to be the brand Ambassador for University of Wales College of Medicine. Currently she is working as the Head of Dermatology Department at the Al Tababah Specialized Clinics, Jeddah, KSA. She is active in many professional societies like American Society of Laser Surgery and Medicine, International Academy of Cosmetic dermatology, World Society of Anti Aging Medicine, International Academy of Anti Aging Medicine etc.
