Abstract :

Globally, more than 80 million couples are infertile, with the majority seeking treatment via in vitro fertilization (IVF), a therapeutic modality that in most cases includes a crucial step of controlled ovarian hyperstimulation (COH) to increase the number of oocytes available for fertilization and, consequently, the chances of conception. This study aimed to identify molecular genetic predictors of ovarian response to COH to investigate the nature of oogenesis and embryogenesis in IVF programs.
