The importance of childcare cannot be underestimated in Ghana and the world at large. Countries, parents and other institutions have taken key interest in children or child care because they are the future of every country or nation. Ghana government has taken major steps to educate all child within the school going age to boost the human resource of the country. Promoting child care within the Ghanaian jurisprudence has taken the centre stage of my Abstract due to how sensitive child care is and how Ghana as a country has shown maximum interest in child care. Firstly, promoting childcare is a civil responsibility and it enjoins all parents and care day institution to educate and promote it in all their areas of discipline. Institutions have been mandated to teach new couples on the need and importance of child care. Moreover, child care is a social responsibility to parents to care and bring their children in a very respected and humble manner so they can fit within the Ghanaian jurisprudence. Again, childcare is a way of joy to both government, institutions and parents. Because government see childcare as a priority because they are the future of Ghana. Hence the bold attempt by government to spent more than half of its budget of child care and child upbringing. To add to the above, child care promotes sense of honour and discipline to both the institution and the parent in their attempt to raise children. Children are very valuable and God’s gift, so child care within the Ghanaian jurisprudence brings in a sense of discipline and honour. Over the years, promoting childcare has been my utmost priority in social life and has promoted more than 100 parents in proper child care. In my humble view, childcare instils discipline and honour in parenting.
