Title: The application of Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) and Autologous Plasma Filler (APF) in aesthetic treatments. Corresponding: Izabela Zaleska PhD, The Section of Professional Cosmetology, The Faculty of Motor Rehabilitation, University of Physical Education in Krakow, Jana PawÅ?a II 78 St, Krakow, Poland, izaleska@icloud. com , +48 504 265 052 Autologous Platelet Rich Plasma and autologous Plasma Filler (APF) therapies shed some new light on anti-ageing procedures. As numerous scientific research proves, natural origin materials, completely biocompatible, essentially influence the process of skin rebuilding, inducing natural reparative processes. It was objectively stated that the therapy with the use of autologous Platelet Rich Plasma reduces TEWL (Trans Epidermal Water Loss), lowers the index of erythema values and also induces collagenogenesis, which causes growth of collagen bundles in dermis. A statistically significant reduction of wrinkles after a single treatment with the use of PRP, especially in an age group between 30 and 50, was also proven. The research proved that the application of PRP and APF is a welltolerated method and at the same time subjectively considered by the researched patients to be highly effective. We also researched the effectiveness of Autologous Plasma Filler in aesthetic treatments as an alternative to HA. Conclusions: • PRP is safe and effective, markedly improving skin parameters. • APF is effective and in some cases can replace hyaluronic acid. • APF + PRP is highly efectivnes therapy.
